This is the latest Enrique Pena X-Series Model ~ a very pocket friendly Pena Lanny’s Clip Front Flipper in Vintage WWII Canvas Micarta
This Example was Customized by Jerry Valdez ~ Exclusively for The Fort
The Vintage Micarta was originally made for McDonald Douglas and may have been used on the Flying Fortress aircraft frame as well as Heavy Duty Ammo Boxes.
Extremely Solid build, tough enough for any daily cutting ~ a wonderful EDC, Traditional Styling with Modern Materials. With Titanium Hardware and an M390 Blade riding on Caged Ceramic Bearings this Pena Lanny’s Clip X Series Front Flipper is incredibly fast and smooth.
A Very solid build with a matching 1/2 length Titanium Backspacer.
The Hardware on this one was Anodized Bronze and a Subtle Red Liner was added under the handle material. For those that Appreciate the Traditional Styling of a Slip Joint but also enjoy the updated, Maintenance Free Materials that such a knife can provide.
