Willem is one of the most personable SA Makers I have met, he is a stickler for detail and strives for perfection. He has a passion for the craft that he exhibits in every knife he makes.

This is a beautiful example of Willem’s modified Loveless Drop Point design ~ I feel that this is an exemplary value with wonderful fit and finish.
The design is robust enough for any outdoor chore and indeed that is what it was designed for, a very comfortable hand filling design.
The blade of this big hunter was hand ground from Bohler Uddeholm N690 Stainless steel. It has a Full Height Hollow Grind, a Distal Taper, fine point and is Razor Sharp!
The N690 steel is quickly gaining popularity with American Makers, it is a very clean Austrian steel with a nice amount of Chromium to make it nearly maintenance free.
This is a Full Tang knife with a Tapered Tang and a very comfortable handle with palm swell and Thin Red Liners help to accent the color of the Tough Black Micarta handle scales.
The shape and size of the handle allows for a comfortable, secure grip. Secured with Corby Bolts just like the older Loveless knives.
Provided with a thick, extremely well finished Right Hand Leather Belt Sheath, the knife fits deep and securely, no chance of the knife accidentally falling out.
