Fort Henry Custom Knives is proud to offer another of Scott’s knives from a Private Collection.  The Ultimate Gentlemans Knife!

This knife has the most Amazing Presentation Grade Pearl that I have seen – so much color and fire in these scales that it almost burns to hold the knife!  Rotate the knife in the light and you will see all the colors of the Rainbow in this Pearl. 

I must confess that due to the Flawless Mirror Polish of the entire knife I had a very difficult time in getting good pictures without glare or showing my ugly mug in the blade.  🙂 

This custom Modified Tanager folder features Scott’s patented Self-lock mechanism. The self-lock gets its name from the fact that the blade locks itself in position; the blade is the only moving part besides a spring and ball bearing detent. When the checkered surface of the release is depressed the base of the blade shifts upward and unlocks.   

In the locked position pressure on the cutting edge will not unlock it, but in fact locks it more securely with a binding action. The lock mechanism is contained within the base of the blade and recessed into the front bolsters. It is packed with grease and sealed against the entry of dirt.

The extremely high Hollow Grind on this blade will make this a slicing dream. The Blade is Marked Sawby and CPM 154.

A beautiful example of an extremely talented Maker with an innovative design.

Previously owned, but never used, carried or sharpened.
There may be small storage swirls on the knife but I do not see any!    Scott’s current Price would be $1,500 with a mutli year wait, so this knife is priced accordingly.
