Several years ago, during the chaos that is the Blade Show, I was intent to meet world renowned Knife Maker Claudio Sobral of CAS Knives. After talking with Claudio he introduced me to his good friend, also a Knife Maker ~ and that Maker was Mariano Yannoni. I was thrilled to see that Mariano still had a few knives on his table, so after speaking with him and inspecting his knives ~ I purchased everything Mariano had left! I am very proud to be able to offer his knives to my Customers.

Mariano Yannoni is clearly a Maker who enjoys Hand Crafting Solid Working knives, from Custom Fixed Blades to Robust Friction Folders.
This Custom Full Tang Ergo Skinner is an immaculate piece ~ Hand Crafted with Two Part Micarta handle scales and UHB20C Steel.
UBH20C is an Uddeholm High Alloyed Tool Steel with a very High Carbon Content with an incredible 63 Rockwell hardness. The blade measures .135 Thick and has a Dramatic Appearance with Clear Delineation Line of Hardness (Hamon) that was achieved by a Traditional Clay Quench with Differential Heat Treat.
A Full Height Flat Grind with a Razor Sharp Edge. The Visible Hamon on the Blade speaks to the Hand Made nature of this special knife.
This is an Elegant yet Tough Full Tang design. The Integral Thumb Recess and Ergonomic shape create a very comfortable Full Grip.
The Micarta handle has a Custom Bird’s Beak butt and Deep Integral Forward Finger guard that combine to provide a very Secure grip!
This knife would be a joy to use and is sure to Please with its Performance, as much as it does with its Appearance.
Complete with a Thick RH Leather Belt Sheath (also made by Mariano).
