This is a wonderful, Large custom Slipjoint ~ the only one like it that Hiroaki brought to the Show
This Custom model has beautiful Aged Sambar Stag handles, a crisp action with a pull of about 6 on a scale of 1-10 and perfectly centered blade.
The Stag handles have been expertly contoured to allow for a full midline – alot of the gnarly exterior Bark is still visible.
The Hand Rubbed blade has an extremely high Satin Finish, crafted from ATS-34 with an RC of 60-61. The blade is perfectly centered and has crisp smooth action and a firm Half Stop.
However, the most striking aspect of this fine knife is the wonderful Stag handle and Custom Filework on the Stainless Backspacer.
Hiroaki makes his own Leather Pocket Sheaths for every knife, well stitched and holds the knife securely.
A wonderful knife, and a great value in a hand made Slipjoint.
Don’t miss out on this one.
