 Hiroaki Ohta has been hand crafting knives since 1989 and began making Full Time in 1998.  His folding knives are prized the world over for their precision and beauty.  Hiroaki Ohta’s knives have been featured in the KNIVES Annuals and appeared in BLADE magazine last year.

 I was Hiroaki’s first customer at the recent New York Custom Knife show and was able to hand pick some of his most beautiful pieces.  This is an precision Custom Slipjoint with some wonderful aged Sambar Stag handles.  

  It is hard to imagine the hours invested in creating such a one of a kind knife as this, all the parts are hand crafted and must fit together precisely and Hiroaki is known by collectors for accomplishing this on every knife.  

Contoured Front and Mirror Polished Stainless Bolsters, hand Rubbed High Satin finish on the clip point blade.  The Samber Stag has been aged and will give the appearance of an ol time pocket knife that has been treasured.  

  The blade has a 3" extremely sharp Cutting edge, a firm half stop, silky smooth walk and talk and excellent spring tension.  

Perfectly matched Sambar Stag handles. 

Hiroaki makes his own Leather Pocket Sheaths for every knife, well stitched and holds the knife securely.
