Direct from the Maker from the ECCKS 2012
I was Hiroaki’s first customer at the recent ECCKS and was able to hand pick some of his most beautiful pieces. This is a precision Gentleman’s Pen knife pattern Slipjoint with some wonderful aged and hand Jigged Cow Bone handles.
It is hard to imagine the hours invested in creating such a one of a kind knife as this, all the parts are hand crafted and must fit together precisely and Hiroaki is known by collectors for accomplishing this on every knife.
Mirror Polished, Grooved Stainless Bolsters, hand Rubbed High Satin finish on the Spear Point blade with a Custom Swedge. The Jigged Bone has been aged and has the appearance of an ol time pocket knife that has been treasured.
The blade has a 2 3/4" extremely sharp Cutting edge, a firm half stop, silky smooth walk and talk and excellent spring tension.
Perfectly matched Jigged Bone handles. Precision all the way around!
Hiroaki makes his own Leather Pocket Sheaths for every knife, well stitched and holds the knife securely.
A precise hand crafted tool that will appeal to anyone who enjoys a Traditional / Quality product.
