Of all the Skinner that I purchased from Herb at the Blade Show this one is the most well balanced and wonderfully proportionate, great materials and extremely comfortable.
The knife has Herb’s Bird’s Eye Damascus which is over 2,500 layers thick. It has a unqiue Fileworked spine and an amazing blending of rare natural materials. The handle is made from 20,000 year old Fossilized Interior Mammoth Tusk with an oblong shape which Herb has expertly contoured to fit the hand.
The Mammoth Ivory handle is flanked by Nickel Silver Spacers and a gorgeous Stabilized Box Elder Burl spacer for color.
The Leather sheath has an exotic Lizard Skin inlay and Tooling around the mouth of the Sheath. Nice snug fit and a wonderful compliment to the knife.
