Of all the knives that I purchased from Herb at the Show this one has the tightest Bird’s Eye Damascus Pattern of them all ~ the etch is deep and shows the incredible pattern perfectly.

Herb’s Bird’s Eye Damascus has over 2,500 layers. This is a great looking knife with artistic attributes, but I guarantee it will perform as good as it looks.  

It has a unique Fileworked spine athat also doubles as Thumb Ridges.

  The handle is made from Fossilized Sea Cow Rib bone.  Herb has worked with the natural shape of the Fossil to narrow the handle near the Finger Guard but leave it plenty thick at the butt, very hand filling and comfortable.  The Rib Bone has beautiful natural colors and intricate grain. 

 The Rib Bone handle is flanked by a Nickel Silver Spacer and a gorgeous Stabilized Box Elder Burl spacer for color.  This knife also has a Subtle Top Guard for Thumb Placement.  

One of the things that sets this knife apart is the generous Full Grip handle that has beautiful natural color variation.  

 The Leather sheath has an exotic Lizard Skin inlay and Tooling around the mouth of the Sheath. Nice snug fit and a wonderful compliment to the knife.
