HERB DERR

 Herb needs no introduction as most folks who know quality Custom fixed blades and unique Damascus have heard his name many times. 

  Direct from the Maker from the East Coast Custom Knife show 2011. 

The most striking feature of this special knife is of course Herb’s Random Pattern Mosaic Damascus which is over 1,200 layers thick.  Herb makes very few of this kind of Damascus, he had four knives at the show with this special Steel and I purchased three of them.

 The Leather sheath has stipple Ostrich Skin inlay and Tooling around the mouth of the Sheath. Nice snug fit and a wonderful compliment to the knife.  Don’t miss out on this one.

 The Fossilized Walrus Jaw handle has beautiful natural coloring as well as a partial artifact site at the reat.  The handle is flanked by Nickel Silver Spacers and a Stabilized Box Elder Burl spacer for color.

Of course this one also has features like a Fileworked spine, gentle handle contouring and the ever present immaculate attention to detail that Herb provides with every knife.
