Here is a hefty Drop Point / Med size Camp knife from Herb’s table at Blade ~ well balanced and wonderfully proportionate, great materials and extremely comfortable.
The knife has Herb’s Bird’s Eye High Contrast Damascus which is over 2,500 layers thick. It has a unqiue Fileworked spine and an amazing blending of rare natural materials.
The handle is made from exotic Stabilized Black Palm wood and the spacer is Fossilized Walrus Jaw retrieved from the Frigid Northern waters of Norway, it is contoured into a comfortable shape with a bit of flare at the butt which makes is extremely comfortable to hold.
The Leather sheath has a South African Ostrich Leg Skin inlay and Tooling around the mouth of the Sheath. Nice snug fit and a wonderful compliment to the knife.

My first Herb Derr purchase, must say superb! Fort Henry took nice pictures but this one is better in person.The damascus blade is exellent, handle is great. I’ve not seen a “black palm handle ” from H.Derr and must say i’m quit pleased. Extreme detail and quality,can’t find one flaw!
