This knife is from my Personal collection, I have accumulated over 100 GEC Knives over the years and have decided to list a few on my website.
This is an Amazing Equal End Slipjoint (aka Sunfish) by Great Eastern Cutlery/ Tidioute Cutlery with Rare Burnt Grizzly Bone
( 1 of Only 59 Unserialized Pieces made in 2008)
The Model of this knife is #362208 ~ it has beautiful Burnt Grizzly Bone and High Polished Bolsters.
The 1095 High Carbon Steel blades have a high Satin Finish. Both blades are well centered and have crisp smooth action.
The Tang of the Smaller blade is marked 362208 – Titusville Iron Works. The Main Blade has the Tidioute Cutlery Trade Mark.
The Nickel Silver Bolsters have been contoured and polished. The Main Blade also has a Unique Swedge on the Top of the Reverse side.
However, the most striking aspect of this fine knife is the wonderful Burnt Grizzly Bone handle.
Complete in the Original Storage Tube with Oil Wax Paper.
