This knife is from my Personal collection, I have accumulated over 100 GEC Knives over the years and have decided to list a few on my website.
This is an Amazing Northfield Square End Trapper by Great Eastern Cutlery with Rare Ram’s Horn Handles
( Uncommon Serialized Piece Made in 2007)
The Model of this knife is #73 ~ it has beautiful, Thick Ram’s Horn Handle Scales and High Polished Bolsters marked with Serial #8.
This Rare Example is also from the Cyclops Knife Works ~ Series 1
The 1095 High Carbon Steel blades have a high Satin Finish. Both blades are well centered and have crisp smooth action.
The Tang of the Larger blade is marked 2007, while the Second Blade is marked Northfield UN-X-LD. The Main Blade also has the Northfield Trade Mark.
The Nickel Silver Bolsters have been contoured and polished. The Main Blade also has a Square End.
However, the most striking aspect of this fine knife are the wonderful Rams’ Horn handles, Deep Crags and Natural Color.
Complete in the Original Storage Tube with Oil Wax Paper.
A wonderful knife that would be a welcome addition to any Slip Joint Collection
