This is a superb Custom Barlow Slip Joint that was Hand Crafted by Willem Steenkamp

Extremely Solid build, tough enough for any daily cutting chore, but certainly elegant enough for Special Occasion carry.  The Blade has superb “Walk and Talk” and the Half Stop is very secure. 

The Cross Cut Micarta handle scales on this Steenkamp Barlow are Custom Contoured and Willem has added a Contrasting XCut Micarta Shield and Bolster.  Extremely smooth action with Excellent Spring tension.  

The Blade has a Labor Intensive Hand Rubbed – extremely High Satin Finish and a Custom Forward Swedge.

This Steenkamp Barlow is smooth and tough at the same time. Precision Fit Titanium Frame against the Stainless Backspring. A Custom Slipjoint that bridges the gap between Traditional and Modern!
