Thys Meades Hand Crafted this incredible Tuxedo Barlow Set with an expert eye toward Precision Fit & Finish. He chose upscale Vintage Westinghouse and added an Black Linen Micarta Bolsters to each knife. This is a Rare Matching Set and is Serial Number 1 of 5 produced.
Extremely Solid build, either would be tough enough for any daily chore but elegant enough to stand out in any Collection. The Blade on the Barlow Slip Joint is Gorgeous Swedish Damasteel and has Superb “Walk and Talk” while the Half Stop is very secure. Extremely smooth with just the Right Amount of Spring Tension.
Both knives feature a Hand Gound, Full Height Flat Grind with the Precision Fit & Finish that Thys is known worldwide for providing.
The Back Spring on the Folder was made from the same Damasteel bar as the Blade and is the Tightest / Most Precise Fit that I have ever seen.
This Thys Meades Barlow Set is classic and elegant at the same time. A very affordable Custom Slipjoint / Fixed Blade set that bridges the gap between Traditional and Modern!
