This is the FIRST TIME I have had this Mid Sized Skinner Model from Dan Crotts!
Here is a very Rare Model that is hot off the Grinder, this is Dan’s Walter Brend Skinner with a unique Fibermascus handle.
Several years ago Walter Brend and Dan were discussing Walter’s designs, Dan explained that he really liked Walter’s Skinner model, so Walter generously offered to let Dan use this classic design for his own.
The Original Brend Skinner has a 5″ blade, but Dan Hand Ground this one with a 4 1/4″ blade with a High Hollow Grind and a late Distal Taper for delicate Skinning or Caping work. Dan has been making knives for Over 25 Years and his Grinding Skills are among the best in the business!
Dan chose to showcase this special model with some Incredible Fibermascus handle scales. This special material offers the best in Lightweight Strength and a unique Burlap looking appearance.
This Brend Skinner is an Elegant, Full Tang knife with a wonderful Handle to Blade Ratio ~ the handle is generous in length and Custom Contoured to comfortably fill the palm.
With a Blade Thickness of .125, and using the World Renowned Bob Dozier Heat Treat formula that Dan learned in his decades working with Bob ~ this beautiful knife will Cut like a Laser and will make short work of any Skinning or Slicing chore.
This Crotts Skinner is hair shaving sharp (as expected) and comes in a Custom Molded Right hand, Vertical belt sheath with a Kydex Belt Loop already built in.
