Last year during the chaos that is the Blade Show, I was intent to meet world renowned Knife Maker Claudio Sobral of CAS Knives. After talking with Claudio he introduced me to his good friend, also a Knife Maker ~ and that Maker was Mariano Yannoni. I was thrilled to see that Mariano still had a few knives on his table, so after speaking with him and inspecting his knives ~ I purchased everything Mariano had left! I am very proud to be able to offer his knives to my Customers.

Mariano Yannoni is clearly a Maker who enjoys Hand Crafting Solid Working knives, from Custom Fixed Blades to Robust Friction Folders. Mariano uses several kinds of Steel on his knives, but his favorite is the Special Hand Forged Steels that he gets from his good friend Claudio Sobral!
This Custom Ronin is an immaculate piece ~ Hand Crafted with Lightweight Carbon Fiber handle scales and Dramatic San Mai Steel
The Hand Forged San Mai Steel was Forged by World Renowned Knife Maker Claudio Sobral. It measures a Robust .185 Thick and has a Dramatic Appearance with Clear Delineation Waves between the High Carbon and Stainless Layers! Full Height Flat Grind with a Razor Sharp Edge. The Visible Layers and Hammer Forge marks on the Blade speak to the Hand Made nature of this special steel.
A Long Custom Swedge and Distal Taper on the Top helps to lighten the forward weight.
The Carbon Fiber handle has a Custom Tapered butt and Deep Traction Ridges that combine to provide a very Comfortable and Secure grip!
This knife was designed and built to be discreet Self Defense / Tactical blade with only the best in materials.
Complete with a Thick Leather Pack Sheath (also made by Mariano). No Belt loop on this one.
The Water Buffalo Leather Storage Pouch holds the knife during travel. It has tight stitching with Beautiful Finish Work.
