Brian Tighe created this Larger, Robust Fighter with an Incredible Modified Tanto Blade. The first couple were introduced in January and very few have been crafted to date. Brian was kind enough to save this one for me a the ECCKS!
This is his new Model called the Tighe Fighter
This design is much Thicker and more Robust than Brian’s normal line. Though it is Light due to the all Titanium and Carbon Fiber Construction ~ it is also Thick, Hand Filling and very Fast in the hand.
The blade was Hand Ground by Brian – it Flips open with impeccable smoothness, a super smooth action due to Brian’s Needle Thrust Bearing system. Note the Deeply Ground Penetrator Tip!
This Tighe Fighter has an Anodized & StoneWashed frame.
The Button Lock is an extremely secure Locking mechanism but it is difficult to do correctly, this one releases very smoothly, incredible action all the way around.
The Ti frame has some beautiful Custom Sculpting in the center to enhance the grip. Another Feature is the Full Length Carbon Fiber Backspacer / Lanyard Holder – this provides extra strength to the Frame without any added weight.
Complete with a very deep / discreet carry Titanium pocket clip with a Ceramic Ball Inlay.
