Brian introduced his new Tighe Down Integral at this year’s Blade Show, I was one of his first Customers and was able to choose some amazing examples of this new design.
This is Brian Tighe’s Newest Integral to hit the Knife scene – the Tighe Down!
This Tighe Down Integral has a Fat Carbon / Carbon Fiber Inlay along with a Custom Zirconium Pivot Collar and clip – a Button lock Flipper design with a beautiful DLC Coated RWL34 Blade that has a Complicated Duplex Grind!
The Flipping action of this knife is incredibly smooth due to Brian’s Needle Thrust Bearing system. No wrist action necessary, the blade leaps out with just a nudge of the Flipper.
The Button Lock is Very Smooth, strong to engage yet smooth to release. This Blade design has a Thumb Ramp as well as Thumb Ridges for extra security.
The ergonomics of this knife are wonderful, with a Solid / One Piece Titanium frame! Note how Brian has beautifully Sculpted the Frame and also integrated a Lanyard Hole into the end.
The Artistic Deep Set Custom Zirconium Pocket clip has a Polished Ceramic Ball at the Tip for smooth movement in and out of the pocket. The Low Rider clip allows this knife to ride out of sight!
Note in this pic you can also see the Subtle Blue Accents in the Carbon Fiber inlay.

This knife comes in a Black Zippered pouch with Faux Leather Tag that has Brian’s Logo stamped onto it.
