A Friction Folder is the oldest of folding knife designs, ancient Friction Folders have recently been discovered in Rome where they were a standard item for men of wealth and privilege!
This blade was hand ground by Brian from CPM-154 and then given a Uniform Stonewashed finish.
To Open a Friction Folder you just need to pull back on the Exposed Tongue extended off the back of the blade. The pivot is set so that the blade will not fall open by itself. It has a very smooth action and a well-centered blade. When opened, the Tongue is recessed into the handle.
Super Smooth action with adjustable pivot. Also the built in Bottle Opener can be used with the Blade still closed.
The Thumb Ridges are expertly crafted and well located on the spine / extended Tang. Lightweight Open Frame Construction will let this ride in your pocket out of sight.
Utility and ultimate discreet carry are the hallmarks of this knife ~ this would look great set up with a Copper Lanyard Bead
