Arno Bernard has been making knives in his Native land of South Africa for over decade and has steadily gained popularity in the U.S. for his unqiue designs, great craftsmanship and his very affordable pricing. He has taught his Son, Arno Jr to make knives and now these are as sought after as his Fathers.
This is the Raven model with beautiful Big Horn Sheep handles. The natural colors of every Ram’s Horns will vary by the size and age of the Ram. The natural handles on this one are very nice with lots of gnarly character and wonderful grain.
This knife has a nice Full Grip but the Tapered Tang keeps the weight toward the blade.
Every Bernard knife comes with an exotic Cape Buffalo Leather pouch sheath.
I hand picked several knives from Arno at the BLADE show this year and they are all great designs with unique handle materials.
