Description
ARNO BERNARD Jr.
Arno Sr. has been making knives in his Native land of South Africa for over decade and has steadily gained popularity in the U.S. for his unqiue designs, great craftsmanship and his very affordable pricing. Many years ago he taught his son to make knives and he has designed several of his own blade.
Direct from the BLADE show 2011!
This is a Large multi purpose model, good for any Wilderness or Camp chore or large animal skinner. It has beautiful Stabilized Giraffe bone Scales, harvested only from animals that have died of natural causes.
The natural color and grain of the handles are exceptional. Both sides are well contoured for a very comfortable grip. The Blade steel is 3/16" thick ~ N690C – a very well respected Bohler steel.
The blade has a distal taper and is ground with a high hollow grind. The Recurve blade shape offers maximum cutting potential to all chores and a Tapered Tang reduces the weight.
I hand picked the best knives from Arno Jr. and Sr. at the BLADE show and they are all great designs with unique handle materials.
Every Arno Bernard knife comes with a thick and exotic Cape Buffalo leather sheath.
