This is a beautiful modified Loveless Model ~ a Sambar Stag Harpoon Hunter which reflects both the art and the skill that Mr Pease has worked for decades to master.
The Crucible CPM-154 blade has a Precision Harpoon style grind with an immaculate hand rubbed finish and razor sharp edge. This gorgeous knife has handles of aged Amber Sambar Stag ~ Stag the likes of which is long gone from todays market.
Amazing deep natural color and gnarly character on the Stag scales, Mosaic Pins all perfectly fitted and matched with a Custom Japanese Mokume Bolster and a Mammoth Ivory Tusk Spacer.
Amazing fit and finish have long been Mr Pease’s calling card. From the deeply Tapered Tang (which most Makers today do not offer) to the precision fit of the Mokume Guard, this Pease Harpoon Hunter has all the bells and whistles of an Old Scholl Custom.
The blade has a Labor Intensive Hand Rubbed Finish with Mr Pease’s discreet unique numbering system.
And of course the thick, Bridle Leather RH Belt sheath contains the Pease Harpoon Hunter snugly and securely.
