Here is a True One of a Kind knife from Tom ~ crafted in 2009 it was made from a Single Piece of David Boye – Dendritic Cobalt / Cast Stellite!
The Dendritic Cobalt was a Customer Supplied piece that Tom only used this once! Stellite is widely acclaimed for its myriad of porperties, such as being Non-Magnetic, Corrosion Resistant, having Outstanding Hardness and Toughness and the ability to take an Incredible Edge! But with all of these great features, it is no surprise to find that Dendritic Cobalt is also VERY Expensive.
This is a medium sized, Full Tang, Full Grip Tactical Tanto. The handles are Blasted Blue / Black G-10 wthat has a very Grippy surface texture. The Tang was left at slightly Thicker than 1/8″ – and the Blade has a very nice Distal Taper and Custom Swedge for Maximum Penetration!
Integral Finger Guard and Thumb Ramp make for a very secure grip. This knife would make a very effective back up blade!
Tom set this one up in a snug fitting custom molded Kydex Sheath complete with a Large Tek-Lok already attached.
A knife you can easily carry and proudly own!
