Michael Szczegot is a young maker from Poland. Known for his Rugged Outdoor, Hunting and Tactical designs, this example of his work showcases his talent.
This is the Warrior Model ~ available today at The Fort!
The Hand Ground blade on this Szczegot Warrior was crafted from Super Strong 80CRV2 steel and given a Cryogenic Quench. This steel has properties that make it unique among High Carbon Steels. It excels at Toughness and is widely known as a Superior Performer. It has a good amount of Carbon and a Higher Chromium content plus the addition of Vanadium for Stain Resistance. Given an Expert Heat Treat and Cryogenic Quench by Michael, it will excel at Edge Retention.
The Handle Scales are a supremely Tough Black Micarta that have a Custom Hand Sculpted Surface texture for an enhanced grip. The Scales are attached with Torx Screws and Michael gave the the handle a Contoured Hand Filling Shape. The Handle also has an Exposed Hammer Poll area.
The blade measures a respectable .175 Thick and is 1 1/2″ Wide in the center. It has a Tough Black Cerakote finish and an extremely precise Full Height Flat Ground blade that would make an excellent Slicer! This is a knife that will tackle all Difficult Cutting or Light Camp chores with ease.
The knife comes with a Secure, Custom Molded Kydex Belt Sheath
The Removable Cordura / Kydex Drop Loop allows you to change / add other Mounting Hardware such a Titanium Mummert Pocket / Pants Clip (Sold HERE) or Tek-Lok should you prefer. Free Paracord Lanyard also included.
