This is Rockstead’s latest Model, just recently released – this is the New HIGO II ~ an Elegant / Precision Titanium Framelock folder with Matte Finished Titanium Frame
A Perfectly Ground Convex Blade of Solid ZDP 189 steel. I have seen thousands of knives ~ Rockstead’s Knives have the most perfect Mirror Polished blades that I have ever seen. This is achieved through a Multi Step Hand Grinding and Hand Buffing process.
Rockstead uses the most modern equipment to maximize the qualities of the Blades – be it the Perfect Grind or the Expert Heat Treat of the Steel! They make only a certain number of each model and every one is Individually Serial Numbered.

The blade Floats open Effortlessly, perfect detent and Excellent Secure lock up. One of the unique attributes of the Higo II is that it has a Replaceable Hardened Steel Lock Face!
This updated Version also has a Solid Titanium / Open Frame construction with Traction Ridges on the Front and Rear. The ergonomics on this Knife are wonderful – Thumb Ridges on the Spine and the Frame aid the security but are still very comfortable.
Extremely impressive all the way around, a folder that looks great and would be a pleasure to use.
