For his blade materials, Charles uses D2 heat-treated to Rc 60 but also offers S30V. Each of his blades are heat treated in his shop and are checked for consistency on his Wilson Rockwell hardness tester to insure you receive a properly treated blade.

Handle material is almost as your heart desires, with or without liners of various colors. Nickel steel pins are standard, but he also uses mosaic pins if desired.
