I am proud to offer this already very popular Knife from Nathan Carothers (aka: Carothers Performance Blades). The CPK Kephart is a very basic but Exceptionally Well Made, high performance, Bushcraft knife.
This is a Robust Woods Blade that was precision built with the toughest materials available. These have Micarta handle scales with Deep Contouring for maximum grip comfort and safety. The handle is Wide and Comfortable, it locks into your hand (doesn’t require a death grip to avoid spinning) allowing a lot of torque with low fatigue.
Your choice of a Thick 3V or AEBL blade on this Nathan Carothers Kephart has an Optimized “Delta” Heat Treat.
The blade shape is his interpretation of a Full Height Convex Grind. Look closely and you will see the different bevels in the blade.
This type of grind allows for much easier Slicing / making Fuzz Sticks and the increasing Bevel also works wonders if Splitting branches or other Bushcraft chores. With a Uniform Stonewashed finish and a unique blade shape ~ the Tip of the Blade is round and is centered for drilling.
This Nathan Carothers Kephart is a stout knife with an excellent design. This is a knife that will handle any Difficult Cutting or Light Chopping chore with ease.
