This is a RARE First Generation example of Carothers Performance Blades Utility Field Knife
Though I have sold several UFKs over the years, the is the ONLY First Gen Field Knife I have ever seen! Nathan Carothers (aka: Carothers Performance Blades) started his UFK line with this Rare 1st Generation Configuration ~ precision built with the toughest materials available.
This Nathan Carothers Field Knife is a wonderfully made Multi Purpose Full Tang Hunter – this model has Tough Blue/Green G10 handle scales with Deep Contouring for maximum grip comfort and safety.
The High End CPM 3V blade is a Robust 3/16″ Thick ~ it has a High Hollow Grind and a Uniform Stonewashed finish.
This Nathan Carothers Field Knife is a stout knife with an excellent design. The Thumb Ridges on the spine and the excellent ergonomics of the handle make this knife a joy to hold.

Another aspect that you wont see on later Models, this early example has a Thick, Chisel Ground Pry Bar / Skull Crusher Butt
