Mike Irie has been making knives for more than 20 years. He is well know within the Industry and has even Hand Ground blades for several different Customized Brands.
This is Mike Irie’s Model 1, a Dress / Presentation Folder with some very nice upgrades from the standard model.
The handles scales are Beautiful Aged Sambar Stag and are milled to fit precisely to the Damascus Bolsters. With the embargo on the Export of Sambar Stag now over a decade old, Stag of this Quality is long gone from today’s market.
The blade opens smoothly using the Right Hand Thumb Stud. Mike even inlaid some colorful Black Lip Mother of Pearl into the Thumb Stud.
Custom Thumb ridges on the Integral Thumb Ramp are especially well done.
The action is extremely smooth and the Lock up is Tight and Secure ~ no play anywhere in this knife.
The Full Length Titanium Backspacer gives this frame design added strength and the Custom Anodizing gives it a pop of color.
