I am very excited to feature this new Maker. I discovered Ken on Instagram where he has a HUGE following and was really impressed with the distinctive look of his work. Ken lives in Indiana and started making knives in 2013 – he does not use any CNC or Computer Equipment and creates his knives One at a Time, all within his own Shop. Ken’s Knives usually sell out on IG in Minutes!

After receiving this knife, I knew immediately why Black Roc Sells Out of each Model so quickly!
This is Ken’s GRIFFTER ~ an Aggressive Tactical / Back up Blade for those who may find themselves in Harm’s Way. This is a Model that Ken has not made in over a year!
- 80CRV2 High Carbon Steel / .250 Thick
- Professional Heat Treat / Cryogenic Quench
- Non-Glare Acid & Stone Washed Finsh
- Modified Tactical Trailing Point Blade
- Custom Flint Knapped Texture on Flats
- G-10 Handle Scales / Full Tang
- Full Grip Handle / Fills the Palm
- Deep Finger Guard
- Custom Molded Matching Kydex Sheath
This knife was Hand Crafted with Thick G-10 handle scales that have a Three Dimensional Carving and Perimeter Traction Grooves to channel Dirt and Moisture away from the middle of the handle. This will provide a sure grip even under other than ideal conditions. A Comfortable, Full Grip Handle held together with torx Screws.
The Mid Height Flat Ground Blade has an Aggressive Distal Taper for a blade that will provide amazing Penetration as well as being capable of handling Tough Cutting Chores with ease. The Top Edge is NOT Sharpened, but easily could be.
80CRV2 is known for having the Extreme Toughness of High Carbon Steels, yet it also has the Perk of High Stain Resistance. The blade has Ken’s Abstract Acid & Stonewashed Finish and the Flats and Spine have a Unique Hand Applied Flint Napped texture. The Integrated Thumb Recess in the spine allows for Finger or Thumb Placement for more control.
The Forward section of the Custom Designed Handle has a Thumb Recess for Fast Indexing, and the the Butt of the Handle has an Extended Ramp with Traction Ridges that makes it very Secure in both the Forward and the Reverse Positions.
This knife would make an Excellent Back up Blade or Tough EDC!
The Matching Custom Camo Kydex Sheath has an Adjustable Snap Loop Carry System.
