Here is one of Jody’s rare Sole Authorship pieces, a Gentleman’s Sized Westy Damascus Flipper.
Jody first Hand Forged the unique High Carbon Damascus billet and then he Hand Ground the blade with a Mid Height Hollow Grind and Dramatic Custom Swedge.
Jody tried to leave as much of the “Age” on the Antique Westinghouse Micarta scales as possible (this is the Darker Material in the Center). This Antique material is extremely sought after since it mellows into a beautiful color like true Ivory.
The Flipping action is incredibly smooth (no wrist action needed) and the Lock Up is perfect! Every inch of this knife showcases Jody’s myriad of talents.
The Westinghouse handle is just the right size to Completely Fill the Palm. Extremely well contoured for a very comfortable grip. The entire Titanium Frame is Anodized as well as the matching Custom Pocket Clip.
Beautiful, Custom Low Ridge Ti Pocket Clip. I am rarely able offer knives from Jody but when I do they never disappoint.
