Jody is internationally known for his immaculate Art knives and for the amazing & elaborate engraving and inlays that he creates on his own and others knives. His work has been featured in every major knife publication and almost every year in the Knives Annuals publication for the last several years.
This amazing knife is a true One of a Kind / Sole Authorship piece from Jody. He called on his Artistic talent and melded that with his Tactical knife design ability (which he normally saves for Sniper Blade Works) and created this Large Tactical piece called ~ On Point
Jody Forged and hand ground his own High Carbon Damascus blade, the intricate Grind he applied is what lends its name to the whole knife. The blade has an almost full height Hollow Grind but Jody expertly worked the material near the tip to create a Thicker Double Arrow Penetrator Point!
The blade floats open due to the IKBS system and Jody’s excellent balance of the thick steel.
Have you ever seen a Tactical Folder with Night Sights? Jody milled the Titanium frame to hold a special glow in the dark G-11 inlay.
Jody then hand relieved a single piece of Titanium to increase the strength of the knife and act as a backspacer.
The Lock up is very secure, some nice texturing on the integral Finger Guard.
So as not to mar the purity of the design the Makers Mark is hidden inside the Frame.
