Jody is internationally known for his immaculate Art knives and for the amazing & elaborate engraving and inlays that he creates on his own and others knives.  His work has appeard in every major knife publication and each year in the Knives Annuals for the last several years.  

This amazing knife is a true one of a kind piece from Jody, the Damascus was born at the Redneck Summit 2011 that I attended at Chad Nichols’ Shop.  Jody used his imagination and skill to combine that special Damascus with other high end materials and thus he created this Cutlass Flipper.   

Jody hand ground the Damascus blade with a mid height hollow grind and balanced it perfecty for a Flipping action that is wonderful to experience. The Damascus created at each Redneck Summit are all unique, each Maker is involved in the creation and thus the resulting pieces are truly unique and special. 

Jody hand carved the Titanium Bolsters to inlay a modified Copper Fleur di Lis pattern on each side.  The 20,000 year old Mammoth Ivory Tusk compliments the Copper inlay and adds a dramatic contast to the Damascus. 

The Thick Titanium frame has been anodized to compliment the colors of the knife, it provides the Liner Lock that engages early and securely.  The Backspacer is Polished Titanium and is fully engraved with Copper inlay that gleams like Gold.

I am rarely able offer knives from Jody but when I do they never disappoint.  Don’t miss out on this beauty.
