This is an elegant, slim fixed blade from Hiroaki. I purchased one in early 2012 and once I placed it on my belt it just would not come off!
Hiroaki was very pleased that I enjoyed this design, I ordered another and picked it up at the last Show. Hiroaki chose some beautiful Cocobolo handle scales and the handle just melts into your palm.
The ATS-34 blade is 2 5/8″ and has a labor intensive Hand Sanded High Satin finish and an expert Heat Treat that leaves the blade at 60-61 Rc. A perfect size for any application, esp for those who may live in a place where blades greater than 3″ are frowned upon.
The Full Grip Stabilized Cocobolo handles are extremely well matched and have been hand polished to show off the beautiful natural Grain and rich Color variation.
Hiroaki makes the handles of his knives slim so they fit in the hand very comfortably. If you long for an upscale EDC that will ride comfortably and be extremely comfortable to use then look no further.
Hiroaki makes his own thick Leather Sheaths, this one has a snug fit and the knife “locks” into place, set up for Right Hand belt carry.
This is the actual knife you will receive, top shelf fit and finish, simple yet elegant.
You will not find a better value on a small Custom Fixed Blade!
