  I have been a Dealer for Herb Derr Custom knives for over a decade, long before I had a website I sold Herb’s knives at Knife Shows and Gun Shows, often to repeat Customers.  Herb’s pieces are sole authorship ~ he forges his own Damascus, grinds his own blades, makes his own Leather Sheaths and still finds time to Teach courses at a Community College on how to make Damascus.

  I hand picked this beautiful hunter from Herb’s Table, it has his high contrast Birds Eye Damascus.  This is the Perfect size Personal Skinner! 

  This Carbon Damascus is over 1,200 layers thick. Nice Filework on the Spine that doubles as Thumb Ridges for a secure grip. The Fossilized Wooly Mammoth Bone handle has rich natural colors and Herb has contoured it into an Oval shape that fits the palm expecially well.  The Bone is flanked by Nickel Silver Spacers and a Stabilized Spalted Maple spacer for color.  

  The Heavy Leather RH Belt sheath has an exotic Snake skin inlay along with Custom Tooling around the mouth of the Sheath. Nice snug fit and a wonderful compliment to the knife.
