This is a Rare Pattern from Herb, I have only offered a few of these in the last several years ~ this is Herb’s Cowboy Bowie knife.    

This Derr Cowboy Bowie has Herb’s Hand Forged Birds Eye Damascus which is over 2,500 layers thick and an Extra Large Fossilized Sea Cow Rib Bone handle. This blade has an Traditional Bowie shape.

Herb also added some Hand applied File Work to the Spine of the blade. The Integral Double Nickel Silver Guard provide extra security in the grip. 

This Derr Cowboy Bowie has an Extra Large Full Grip handle of Fossilized Stellar’s Sea Cow Rib Bone ~ HERE is a link to some information on the extinct Stellar Sea Cow. This material is very dense and has beautiful Natural deposits of color. The knife also has a Double Nickel Silver Guard in front of the Stabilized Buckeye Burl spacer.

This is an amazing combination of materials and a Unique Sole Authorship piece from Herb.

 The Heavy Leather Belt sheath has a Full Length Ostrich Skin inlay and it has a Removable Belt Loop so that the Sheath can also be carried in the Boot! Nice snug fit and a wonderful compliment to the knife.
