This is a Rare New Pattern from Herb, I have never seen one quite like this one. This is Herb’s New Bowie Model  

This big knife has a 3/16″ Thick blade crafted from Herb’s Hand Forged Birds Eye Damascus which is over 2,500 layers thick.

It has a Double Nickel Silver Guard and a classic Long Bowie / Clip Point blade and a Stabilized Spalted Maple Forward Spacer.  

Herb’s expert Heat Treat and Etch brings out the beautiful Birdseye pattern very well. Herb also added some Custom Filework on the Spine of the blade. 

  The knife has a comfortable Full Grip handle of Fossilized Stellar Sea Cow Rib Bone that has wonderful variation and grain. 

Fossilized Stellar Sea Cow Rib Bone is very dense and has beautiful Natural deposits of color ~ HERE  is a link to some information on the extinct Stellar Sea Cow. 

  The Heavy Leather  Belt sheath has an Exotic Boa Constrictor Skin inlay. Nice snug fit and a wonderful compliment to the knife.
