Thys Hand Crafted this incredible Gunstock Slipjoint with an expert eye toward material combination. He chose Vintage Westhinouse Micarta and matched that with rich Brazillian Rosewood!
Extremely Solid build, tough enough for any daily chore but elegant enough to stand out in any Collection. The Blade has superb “Walk and Talk” and the Half Stop is very secure.
Extremely smooth with just the Right Amount of Spring Tension (IMO this knife is about a 6 – in a range from 1-10).
This pic shows the Brazillian Rosewood Bolsters against the Westinghouse scales and the complimenting Rosewood Shield – fit so perfectly you cannot even feel the seams!
The Bohler N690 Blade has a Satin Belt Finish and a very High Hollow Grind with Dramatic Custom Swedge.
Note the Joint of the Back Spring and the Frame – Extremely Tight and precise.
This knife is smooth and tough at the same time. A very affordable Custom Folder that bridges the gap between Traditional and Modern!
