Gabo is a somewhat reclusive Knife Maker who lives in a small town in Poland, he started making knives approximately three years ago. He quickly became fascinated with Slip Joints and struck up a long distance friendship with Knife Making Legend ~ Tony Bose. Tony was kind enough to provide Gabo with two of his exact patterns and plenty of instruction and Gabo began the arduous task of recreating his mentors reknowned work. Gabo uses No CNC and very little Power Equipment besides his Grinder in his endeavor to create the highest Fit & Finish in a hand made knife.

This Custom Bose Swayback was entirely Hand Crafted by Radoslaw “Gabo” Sawicki
Gabo did his best to emulate the extreme Attention to Detail that makes Tony Bose work world reknowned. This Custom Swayback is a Superb example of Gabo’s work, tough enough for any daily chore but certainly would hold it’s place among Quality Collectable pieces as well.
The Handles are Satin Finished Ivory Richlite with Hand Peened Stainless Pins and “Hand Rubbed” Satin Stainless Bolsters
The Blade has Excellent “Walk and Talk” and the Half Stop is very secure with a Square End Tang. Extremely smooth action with just the right amount of Tension on the Spring.
The Blade has a Labor Intensive Hand Rubbed Finish, a very High Hollow Grind, a Subtle Custom Swedge and a Razor Sharp edge.
Precision Fit & Finish with an especially Impressive Fit at the Backstop between the Spring and the Tang.
This knife is smooth and tough at the same time.
