Last year during the chaos that is the Blade Show, I was intent to meet world renowned Knife Maker Claudio Sobral of CAS knives. After talking with Claudio he introduced me to his good friend, also a Knife Maker ~ and that Maker was Mariano Yannoni. I was thrilled to see that Mariano still had a few knives on his table, so after speaking with him and inspecting his knives ~ I purchased everything Mariano had left! I am very proud to be able to offer his knives to my Customers.

Mariano Yannoni is clearly a Maker who enjoys Hand Crafting Solid Working knives, from Custom Fixed Blades to Robust Friction Folders. Mariano uses several kinds of Steel on his knives, but his favorite is the Special Steels that he gets from his friend Claudio Sobral!
This Companero is a Wonderful, EDC Sized Hunter / Skinner ~ Hand Crafted with beautiful Maple Burl and Tight Weave Carbon Fiber Bolsters. The Joints of the material are so precise that you cannot even feel the Seams.
The Forged 1095 Blade has a Beautiful Hamon and a Full Height Flat Grind with a Razor Sharp Edge. The Full Length Hamon on the Blade is a Visible Representation of the Traditional Clay Tempering process ~ Mario learned this Technique from his friend Claudio.
This is an Elegant and Lightweight Full Tang design and Mariano has expertly Custom Contoured the Maple Burl scales to create a very comfortable Full Grip handle.
The Gorgeous Maple Burl has Tons of Grain and wonderful Natural Color. The Lightweight Carbon Fiber Bolsters add a dramatic appearance without adding any weight to the knife.
Custom Thumb Ridges on the Spine of the Blade aid the Security when holding the knife.

A Thick Leather Pouch Sheath also made by Mariano is included.
The Pocket / Pack Sheath holds the knife securely. It has tight stitching with Beautiful Finish Work.
