Kansei (pronounced Can-See) and I met through Shosui Takeda this year at the Blade Show, I was aware of his work but not until now did I have the chance to offer it on my website. 

This is an immaculate Gentleman’s Friction Folder Liner Lock.  Yep, a Friction Folder that locks open with the precision fit and finish that only a Master can offer.

The rich Aged Sambar Stag is perfectly matched, each side has deep gnarly character and a warm amber color.  The blade floats open but still has a perfect detent, the lock engages with a soft sound and there is absolutely no play anywhere in the knife. 

The Satin Finished blade is Razor Sharp.  The polished exposed Pivot is a nice feature and allows the knife to blend between a classic style and innovative technology. Stainless liners are polished, the handle is large enough for a nice Three Finger grip. 

If you long for a nice small precision folder for your desk or dress pants then this is the blade for you.  Kansei also provides a thick Leather Pouch sheath for carrying the knife in your pocket.
