Johann van Deventer is a South African Knife Makers Guild member. His work has been featured in SA magazines devoted to Hunting but recently he has also worked hard at making folding knives of various kinds.

This is a wonderful NEW Design from JD Van Deventer. This knife has a very unique appearance that denies any heritage, it is a compact model and one of the Best Flippers that JD has designed.
Fully contoured Orange G-10 handles, precision fit to the Black Site Carbon Fiber bolsters. The toughest in materials for this powerhouse Flipper! The N690 blade flips open absolutely effortlessly due to the IKBS system and JD’s precision balance on the blade.
I love the Wide Blade design with Compound Grind and Thick Tip. This design makes for a Wicked Fast Flipper.
The blade Locks up Early and Secure and releases smoothly.
Johann has also added a Full Length Custom Fileworked Titanium Backspacer between the Anodized Bronze Titanium Liners.
The Custom Pocket Clip is set for Deep, Discreet carry and has been contoured to match the Lines of the Design.
Complete with a fun Presentation Box and Crowbar for Box Lid Removal as well as a Padded Zipper Storage Pouch.
