This is the New Medusa Automatic by Heretic Knives ~ this particular example has an Extremely Tight Weave Carbon Fiber Frame Frame with textured inlays and a Blade in Matte Black DLC finish
This example of the Medusa is very light weight ~ with the Curved Ergonomic Design and Tough “Wing Walk” Traction Inserts it provides a positive grip, even under the most demanding circumstances. Depressing the High Strength Button (which also serves as the Lock Mechanism release) – the blade rides on GTC Bearings and flies open with incredible speed.
The murdered out Battleworn Tanto Blade was Ground from CPM S35VN.
The Blade has an Integral Thumb Ramp with Comfortable Thumb Ridges on the Spine of the blade that really enhance the security of the knife when open.
The Button Lock is an extremely secure Locking mechanism but it is difficult to do correctly, this one releases very smoothly, incredible action all the way around.
The Titanium Backspacer has Traction Ridges in the center to enhance the grip, as well.
