Dew Hara grew up helping his famous Knife Maker Father, Koji Hara. Koji and Dew are known World Wide for their Art knives with detailed Hand Work and fine Materials.
This Dew Hara Ray has almost too many Special Features to showcase adequately. The Solid Copper handle overlays have Traditional Shikkoiu Drop Texture. The Japanese Shikkoku Drop finish is created by oxidizing the copper black using chemicals and then artfully adding Cold water droplets with a black lacquer.
The K390 Blade is DLC coated with a Custom Two Tone finish, the Flats are Hand Rubbed and the Bevels are Mirror Polished. This Flipper has impeccable Fit and Finish, and the Flipping action is extremely smooth due to the Caged Bearings and Excellent Balance of the Blade.
The Gorgeous Abalone Inlays on each side feature true Fire and Opalescence – the photos do not do them justice. These will appear much more beautiful in person!
The Liner Lock is Very Secure and smooth to release.
The Solid Copper Backspacer adds strength and beauty to this amazing knife.
The matching Mirror Polished stainless Pocket clip is set for tip up carry and it has Dews Name and the Serial Number Subtle etched into the surface.
