Dew Hara grew up helping his famous Knife Maker Father, Koji Hara. Koji and Dew are known World Wide for their Art knives with detailed Hand Work and fine Materials.
Dew has now Retired the NOAH Model – he is working on the final pieces now.
This Dew Hara Noah has almost too many Special Features to showcase adequately. This is Serial #94 ~ this knife features custom scales of Bursera Graveolens (also known as “Holy Wood”) on the elegantly Contoured Titanium Frame. The Operation of this knife is extremely smooth, the Flipping action is impeccable due to the Caged Bearings and Excellent Balance of the Blade.
Dew Hand Ground the OU-31 Blade with a difficult Duplex Grind and Kiridashi Tip. He worked to attain a Flawless Mirror Polish, then applied an Incredibly Tough DLC coating. The Crisp Complicated Grinds on the Blade and the DLC Coated Pivot and Screws are extremely precise.
The Frame on this Dew Hara Noah has Windows cut into the exterior to show off the beautiful Mother of Pearl Inlay. With a Subtle Rainbow of color, this one will look much nicer in person.
This is a Liner Lock Flipper design with a nice Heft to it due to the Construction. The Liner Lock is Very Secure and smooth to release.
The design incorporates an Integral Thumb Ramp with Custom Thumb Ridges. The ergonomics of this knife are wonderful with Handle Overlays and Stainless Steel Liners that have excellent Texturing and a Titanium Backspacer.
An extreme Deep Set Satin Finished Titanium Pocket clip allows this knife to ride out of sight! The Clip is Marked with Dew’s Name and also shows that this knife is #94.
