I’m pleased to offer this distinctive creation from Darriel Caston ~ his name and this item is new to the Fort! This is his unique ~ Pocket Sized Dog Tag Folder.

Bead Blasted and Tumbled CTS XHP stainless blade at 63RC – Razor Sharp. Blasted and Tumbled Ti Frame / Handle.
The blade locks into place using Darriel’s Integral WRS (Wedge Retention System) so the blade doesn’t come back and bite you.
To close, just push on the square enough so that the Detent Ball has clearance to duck back under the blade. You’ll notice the lock is strong and here is why; First, it snaps the wedge securely into place and Second, there is a strong grab of the Detent Ball in the closed position – if you don’t want to use the included Leather Sheath you can still put the Folder on your keychain or on a chain around your neck and you will not have to worry about it opening!
There are many subtle customized features of this design that might go un-noticed, but are useful just the same. Such as the aligned Jimping on the Spine and under the frame ~ when the blade is open this provides extra retention.
Another is the Wide Frame / Ledge that the Blade sits on when closed, this prevents mishaps as nothing can come into contact with the cutting edge while the blade is closed.
This unique Folder comes complete with a thick Custom Leather Sheath crafted by Nita Broadwell (wife of famed Knife Maker David Broadwell).
