Last year during the chaos that is the Blade Show, I was intent to meet world renowned Knife Maker Claudio Sobral of CAS Knives. After talking with Claudio he introduced me to his good friend, also a Knife Maker ~ and that Maker was Mariano Yannoni. I was thrilled to see that Mariano still had a few knives on his table, so after speaking with him and inspecting his knives ~ I purchased everything Mariano had left! I am very proud to be able to offer his knives to my Customers.

Mariano Yannoni is clearly a Maker who enjoys Hand Crafting Solid Working knives, from Custom Fixed Blades to Robust Friction Folders. Mariano uses several kinds of Steel on his knives, but his favorite is the Special Hand Forged Steels that he gets from his good friend Claudio Sobral!

This Presentation Knife is an immaculate piece ~ Hand Crafted with a beautiful Crown Sambar Stag handle and several Custom Silver Nickel Spacers for some added warmth to separate the Carbon Fiber Spacer Guard.
The Hand Forged San Mai Steel was Forged by World Renowned Knife Maker Claudio Sobral. It measures a Robust .175 Thick and has a Dramatic Appearance with Clear Delineation Waves between the High Carbon and Stainless Layers!
Full Height Flat Grind with a Razor Sharp Edge. The Visible Layers and Hammer Forge marks on the Blade speak to the Hand Made nature of this special steel.
This is an Elegant and Lightweight Partial Tang design. the Tang extends into the handle and is then inserted into a Black Micarta sleeve. Again the Darker Core of the High Carbon Steel is clearly visible in the San Mai steel.
This knife would be a joy to use and is sure to Please with its Performance, as much as it does with its Appearance.
Complete with a Thick RH Leather Belt Sheath (also made by Mariano).
The Leather Sheath (also made by Mariano) holds the knife securely. It has tight stitching with Beautiful Finish Work.
