This is a very pocket friendly Custom Pena Apache Front Flipper Hand Crafted by Enrique Pena
Extremely Solid build, tough enough for any daily cutting ~ sleek enough to be considered a Gentleman’s Flipper but with evident Traditional Elements. This example has Micarta Scales and Bolsters.
The Blade has a Labor Intensive Hand Rubbed Satin Finish and a very High Hollow Grind with Custom Swedge. The Blade Flies open effortlessly with just a touch of the Front Flipper!
Very nice action, the blade glides open smoothly and the Lock Up is Consistent ~ Very early and secure.
This Pena Apache Front flipper has a Half Length section of CrossCut Micarta for the Backspacer to help strengthen the Frame
A Wonderful and Innovative design, for those that Appreciate the Traditional Styling of a Slip Joint but also enjoy the updated Opening Mechanism of a Front Flipper.
