A rare new Model from Dan called the Mountaineer.  Like all of Dan’s knives this is an immaculate Custom with an especially comfortable handle. 

This special Full Tang knife has a precision High Hollow Grind and a full Finger Choil area ~ crafted out of his Mentors favored Steel ~ thick D2.  This knife has great looking Canvas Micarta handle scales with a striking wood grain like appearance,  the handle is generous in size and very secure due to the Integral Finger Guard and the Birds Beak rear butt.  Red Liners, Brass blind bolts and a Brass Lined Thong Hole.  

 Dan does not make many knives these days and this is the first New Model I have received in two years ~ needless to say his knives are hard to get.

 Hair shaving sharp (as expected) and comes in a tight RH Vertical Kydex Sheath.
